Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout in the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance and picked up a more impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
