Columbia Police Department officers were constantly searching for Sims who had been missing since Christmas. They were also able to detain Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his death. The police say Eddie Brown (30), was indicted as a suspect in the murder. Sims 26, who was last seen December. 20 in Columbia on Ervin Street in Columbia. According to policereports, his partner Wardlaw identified Sims as missing on the night of Dec. 22. His body was discovered Sims was discovered Wednesday near Monticello Road.
